Henry DeHart, originally from Greenville, S.C., practically grew up at Camp Sea Gull. His Camp career began early; Henry’s father was a camper, a counselor and served as a Camp physician. Henry was a camper, a Jr. and Sr. Counselor, Assistant Sailing Master, Head Counselor, and Program Director. In 2003, Henry returned as the Associate Director before transitioning into the Executive Director position in 2004.
Henry received his B.A. from Emory University. Previous employment includes: Editor and Jr. Partner at Business Media, Inc., Senior Account Executive at VantagePoint, Inc. and Senior Account Executive at Erwin-Penland, Inc. Currently, Henry, his wife Ana and their two children live in Raleigh, N.C.
Henry is a participant (with his daughter) in Y Guides & Princesses with the YMCA of the Triangle, a member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, a former member of New Bern’s 300th Committee Task Force, a former Board Member of the Greenville Little Theater and a former Board Member and President of Downtown Business Association in Greenville, S.C.
